Muhlenberg County records must be requested from the office that created or maintains them. Court files go to the Circuit Court Clerk, sheriff reports go to the sheriff, detention records stay with the jail, and statewide products follow Kentucky agency procedures. Muhlenberg County Criminal History is a private reference resource and cannot retrieve, correct, certify, or expunge a government record.

This Is Not a Government Office. This private resource cannot pull official records, perform government checks, correct or remove a record, or receive an expungement filing.

Need an Official Record?

Use the Muhlenberg County or Kentucky custodian that holds the requested record:

  • Court case files: use the Muhlenberg County criminal court case route or contact the Circuit Court Clerk, who keeps both District and Circuit records
  • Criminal-history products: follow Kentucky State Police Criminal Identification and Records Branch or Administrative Office of the Courts procedures
  • Sheriff arrest and incident reports: use the Muhlenberg County sheriff's official open-records page or office
  • Booking and local custody: contact the Muhlenberg County Detention Center rather than the sheriff front desk
  • City police reports: request the record from Greenville, Central City, or Powderly Police when that department created it
  • Expungement filings: obtain the required Kentucky certification and file the proper petition with the court of conviction
