A name or place entered in a search box is sent directly to the outside company operating that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. Muhlenberg County Criminal History does not keep or record those search terms on its own systems.

No Criminal-Record Data on File
Muhlenberg County Criminal History does not build, keep, or sell a database of personal criminal records. It publishes general directions to the sheriff, the Circuit Court Clerk, Kentucky State Police Criminal Identification and Records Branch, and the Kentucky State Police Sex Offender Registry. Centralized Kentucky histories have separate access limits under KRS 17.150, and CourtNet dissemination products are governed by KRS 27A.420 through 27A.440. Visitor information is not compiled into a third-party record or consumer report, and the site is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA.

Outside companies provide the site's search tools. A partner's privacy policy, retention schedule, and disclosure rules govern information submitted to its box. Those practices are outside this site's control, so review the applicable policy before entering a query.
